What this service covers
The external stack and roof
Removing a redundant chimney stack can be an option when repair is not worthwhile or the stack is no longer needed. We assess the external stack and the work required to make good the roof afterwards.
Whether repair, rebuilding or removal is appropriate depends on the chimney condition and how it is used.
Removal scope and important checks
The scope is agreed carefully around access, the building, support and any active flues or adjoining ownership. Any structural or approval requirements must be clarified before work starts. Roof-level stack removal is different from removing an internal chimney breast. Tell us how the chimney is used so the right checks can be made before work is planned.

This service covers the stack above the roof, not the chimney breast inside the house. Internal removal would need a separate assessment.
