Ridge and hip condition
Ridges run along the top of a pitched roof; hips run down the outside corners. Loose tiles, deteriorated bedding or failing dry fixings can affect both. We check the tiles, accessible support and adjoining coverings before setting out the repair.
Repair, replacement and appropriate fixings
Depending on the condition, the work may involve re-bedding suitable tiles, replacing damaged tiles or installing a suitable dry-ridge or dry-hip system. The quotation explains the proposed approach rather than assuming every roof needs the same treatment.
