What this service covers
The underside of the eaves
Soffits close the underside of the roof overhang. Missing, damaged, loose or deteriorated boards can leave the eaves untidy and in need of attention. We check the soffits and their relationship with the fascia and roof ventilation.
Replacement scope and ventilation
Replacement is specified around the existing roof construction and the condition found. The quotation explains the sections to be renewed and any related work to fascias or guttering, so the finish and scope are agreed in advance.

Are soffits the same as fascias?
No. Soffits sit beneath the roof overhang; fascias run along the outer edge. They are often assessed together but perform different roles.
